Autumnal Outfit

Hello there! It's been a while since I did my last outfit post, looking back it was my summer party one which was all the way back in August, so I'm due to do another one. Now that it's mid-November, the days are colder, the heating's being put on (finally) and it's time to whack out the big winter coat. I always like seeing what people are currently wearing so I thought I would share an outfit with you that I've been wearing a lot recently!

I bought this coat from asos a few months ago (and annoyingly now it's cheaper than it was when I bought it), as I had been looking for another one to add to my collection, as one that I had from the past days of GCSE's had got to the point where it could be sewn up no more, and really needed to be gotten rid of. Although not waterproof this is fine as I have a separate coat for this purpose, but this might be something you want to consider if you are in the market for a new coat. That being said this is so cosy as the coat is faux shearling so the outside is really soft, and the faux wool extends to the whole of the inside of the coat so keeps you really warm.
I picked up these plum coloured pumps from Primark at the start of autumn, but they should still be there as I saw them when I popped into Primark the other day! I absolutely adore the colour, and it goes really well with the Kate Moss 107 lipstick that I was wearing. What's really nice about these pumps is that on the inside there is an extra padded layer, so they're extra comfy to wear.

If you've been a reader for a long time you may recognise my scarf from my first ever favourites post from November last year!  I still love wearing it as it's a variation on the more traditional red/green tartan design.
I bought this corduroy skirt recently from Topshop, and what really drew me in is the colour. It's a burnt orange/beigey brown colour and I think it's perfect for this time of year. The button detailing adds something extra to the skirt, and I've been pairing this with a black long-sleeved top. I really like the contrast between the black and the orange.
My bag is from Accessorize, and although not exactly the same, this one is very similar. This is the perfect size, and it has two zipped compartments, with one that shuts with a popper. I like having the security of a zip for more valuable items, and the middle is perfect for things like snacks/my diary, or for things that are a little larger as it's not as restrictive.

As you can see in this photo, it was Tom who had the job to be my photographer, and his shadow decided to get in on this one! A big thank you to him, as otherwise I'd have to awkwardly try and take these photos myself! I hope you like this outfit and it provides some inspiration- what have you been wearing a lot recently? Leave me your links in the comments and I'll be sure to check them out as I always like to see what everyone else has been loving!

Love Jess xxx
